A WORD FOR THE 1st YEAR STUDENTS OF B.tech (GGSIPU)


Firstly I want to congratulate the students who got admitted in GGSIPU in year 2011-12. This is a post to give the overview of the First year for the B.tech student of GGSIPU.


Hello! Friends Myself also a student of GGSIPU and recently passed my 1st year. This is a POST for the APNASEM BLOG to give their new readers a review about the First Year Experience.


It was in mid September when we got admitted. The First sessional were gone but as counselling was going that time it was cancelled. Now, also the same scenario is there 1st sessional is from 12th sep 2011 in GGSIPU but 2nd counselling is going. 


1st SEMESTER:
Generally! in 1st SEMESTER there is LOT of BACK/ FAIL/POOR result in ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS ETMA-101.
So the students are requested to keep practicing ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS.


2nd SEMESTER:
Generally! from the previous results the students get LOT of BACK/ER/FAIL/POOR result in
 1) ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS- II
 2) BASIC ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
 3) ENGINEERING MECHANICS


So the students are requested to get sincere in these subjects and study these subjects more then the others.


Now, the GGSIPU also has a provision of YEAR BACK IN GGSIPU . The students get the YEAR BACK IN GGSIPU when he fails to get 50% credit i.e. 27 out of 54 in 1st year.
