IPU-CET 2011 RESULTS OUT

  IPU-CET result of Test Code-27  is Declared.

IPU-CET TEST CODE 27 are now viewed as the prestigious test by Engineering Aspirants of Delhi and Outside Delhi also. About 70,000 Students fill the form for  this test for around 5800 seats only. 
Although the questions in the EXAM is not tricky. Exam is merely of STATE LEVEL ENGINEERING ENTRANCE TEST. But the number of students make it tough to get rank. 
STUDENTS GETTING RANK BELOW 10,000 WILL SURELY GET ADMISSION.
EVEN THE STUDENTS  OF RANK AROUND 12,000 also have a chance to get.

    @Utsav There is no Hostel facilities for AIT, MAIT and BVCE. Students of outside delhi or even delhi who lived far from college have to arrange PG for their accomadation.

    @Rahul You can get any branch of HMR,DITE, GEC.

    @Piya Best college is best but you have to cope up with the other students level. As you can understand if half of the class getting 20+ marks from 30 and you are getting below than how its feel.
    Going in Private University like Galgotias, Amity, Lovely, Manav Rachna will ruined away your civil service dreams. These Institutes are not AICTE approved and they have good faculty but its the student who made college not teachers.
    REMEMBER OUR ENVIRONMENTAL MINISTER- JAIRAM who said IITs have world class students but not teachers.



    One thing you all have to know that the INTERNAL as WELL as EXTERNal Exam of GGSIPU are same for all affiliated colleges. USIT, IGIT and USCT have their own exams.

    Yes! MAIT is Best in Mechanical engg. for placement. As many of the placement in Mechanical Engg. goes for Designing from few years.

    PG facility is good at ROHINI and Bagdola Village.
    We suggest you to take PG near DTU(Delhi Technical University) and stays there with ME from DTU. Many of our friends from outside delhi doing same.
    This will ensure your knowledge sharing with some good minds.

    Difference b/w IT and CSE are:
    1) In CSE you will learn about some hardware/ architecture of Computer. While in IT you will learn only Software with some multimedia features.

    2) IF IT company is recruiting and they have to make choice b/w CSE and IT students with same marks they will take IT students.

    @Rohit+Ravi 1st shift and 2nd shift comparison :

    DISADVANTAGE
    1)1st shift teachers are experienced, while 2nd shift teachers in many colleges are new or retired from DU colleges for applied science.

    2) Participation in SEMINARS and TECH EVENTS in colleges generally helds at 1st shift time and students of 2nd shift suffers.
    3) Generally, 1st shift teachers are the HEAD of the events like TECH FEST, seminars in the college because they have good bonding with management.

    ADVANTAGE:
    1) Students of 2nd shift got same chance in campus placement with big companies.
    2) Name of college is with you if you are going for OFF campus placement.
    3) Result of both the shifts are same as compared to pass/fail percentage.


    @Shiva IT at ASET is better choice.

    NOIDA : JSS college is best, JAYPEE is also good and Mahatma Gandhi is average. Other's are new.

    There are 2 shifts in many private colleges in IPU.

    If you are from UP then go for UPTU.

    I have seen cutoff pattern for cse and IT.
    For IT there is a relaxation of about 1500 rank.

    so will i face any loss after completing my btech(IT) or any placement issues???

    And if not than why there is a relaxation in cutoff for IT???

    It's just about popularity dear CSE is old as compared to IT.
    Let's take an example: Student in BVP, Delhi of Instrument branch get high package as compared to ECE. Thats fact Instrument is extension of ECE. Tool is an extension of Mechanical.

    Another Example: Have a look at SRCC cut off and Hansraj.

    @Pooja: In IPU if you have 60+ % and no back at the time of placement you will surely placed with min. 3.25Lakh package.

    @Rohit There is no placement issues accept in some govt. jobs.

    One thing that you all must need to know that at CAMPUS PLACEMENT if you have 60+%age and NO BACK then you will surely get placement in IPU.
    CAMPUS PLACEMENT is irrespective of course except in some BIG COMPANIES like Google, Microsoft etc. You can be COMPUTER ENGINEER by taking EEE or any other branch also.

    @Pooja Every college of IPU is good. Placement condition is same 60+ marks and NO BACK.

    BPIT will be best choice for you for CSE.

    But if MSIT is close to your house then you can try IT 2nd shift or EEE 1st shift.

    EEE gives you chance for gov. jobs through exams like IES etc.

    @Shantanu There will be NO CHANCE getting any college of GGSIPU if you are NOT QUALIFIED. Even MANAGEMENT QUOTA DIDN'T WORK IN THAT CASE.

    BETTER YOU GO FOR COLLEGES FROM MDU, UPTECH, RTU, PTU etc.

    @AC Your chances are there in 2nd counselling.

    @Anonymous IITs Toppers are going for ELECTRICAL BRANCH after CSE. But the pattern is reverse in IPU and many regional colleges because the students do not get campus placement as most of the companies as you said are from IT.
    But CORE Branch got a huge advantage over Other branches in the exams like ES(Engineering Services), GATE(CORE) etc.
    If you take EEE you have to clear exam of NTPC, BHEL, DELHI METRO etc. for your placement with average package above 7.5 Lakh which is very high as compared to other branches campus placement.


    In first counselling we have a information not sure that BVP and MSIT(2nd Shift) will not be there.
    So you can take NIEC as your best option for 1st counselling.

    At 3879 rank why you are going for MANAGEMENT QUOTA ??
    you will get better colleges in counselling than from management as eligibility condition in mAIT, MSIT etc. is above 80 marks.

    @bloghead- plz tell me whthr i should go for hmr or amity or not? because i heard hmr doesnt have a good location and placement...... same with amity its not having a good infrastructure and facilities... plz give me sincere advice, dont wanna leave uptu good colleges for bad ip collegs........ help me out....

    @Pooja HMR is better than AMITY as per the result and infrastructure.

    @Abhishek BPIT CSE is a good option than MSIT 2nd Shift.

    had i done good on choosing it in usit and neglecting cse in all other colleges. Also how,s usit, are dtu/nsit worth it for dropping 1 year and getting selected there next year.Coz i am not in a mood to waste a whole year.

    GBPANT don't have good teachers, worst area[crowd],teachers don't gave good marks in internals.

    MAIT. Best teachers, very good college crowd, teachers gave marks whole heartedly.
